Founder story
Chris Martinez spent his early career in the US Army, then twenty-plus years in manufacturing IT and service delivery management — the kind of work where systems either help people do their jobs or get in the way. He saw both.
CM Tech Software exists because the same broken patterns kept showing up across small businesses: software priced for enterprises but sold to SMBs, consultants who disappear after the invoice clears, and project plans that ignore the operational reality of running on small teams.
The consulting practice is the answer to a specific version of that problem: SMBs that need senior-level technical help on a project basis, without an enterprise services contract or a permanent hire.
